Progressive Bets for Online Caribbean Stud Poker for Real Money

As you set your initial bet you also have to choose whether or not you want to take place in the Progressive Jackpot. If you choose to participate in the Progressive Jackpot you have to set up a side bet and that amount has to be specified at the beginning. Now that you have some familiarity with the game you can start to involve yourself in those Progressive side bets. This isn't something that you want to do with the very beginning because you're just learning the rules but once you played a few times you can start to set up your side back. With this you have to make sure you set up your side bet or the progressive jackpot once you place your original ante. The dealer will virtually press a button that signals you are eligible for the Progressive Jackpot. The house edge is going to be much larger for this, around 26% so it's not something you should do regularly. However, you should only do this when the jackpot is significantly large. This game is heavily based on chance, so you also want to consider the payouts for every hand as it relates to your Progressive. If you end up with a Royal Flush and you have placed a side bet of just $1, you will get a standard payout for a royal flush of 100 times your original bet and all of the money that's in the Progressive Jackpot should you win that as well.

If you get a Royal Flush the payout for the progressive jackpot is 100% of the jackpot or at least $10,000, whichever is higher. If you win with a straight flush and you win the Progressive Jackpot you get 10% of the jackpot or $1,000, whichever is higher. If you win the game with Four of a Kind the casino will either give you $100 as the progressive jackpot or $500. With a Full House you get 10% of the jackpot or $1,000, whichever is higher. If you win with a Flush you can get $50 or $100 contingent upon the casino. Every casino has slightly different rules so it's important to check this out before you start placing your bets so you know how much you will win.

Mathematically speaking this is something to bear in mind throughout the game as you are placing your bets.

Call or Fold When You Play Real Money Caribbean Stud Poker

As an advanced player you have to look at one of your last remaining cards and then compare it to the card that the dealer has face up. This is in effect the one thing that should determine whether you fold or call. If you have a 2, and the dealer's up card is a 2, you should call. If you have a 2 the dealer's up card is anything else you should fold.

Similarly, if you have a 3 as your last remaining card and the dealer's up card is a two you should fold but if the dealer's up card is a 3 you should call. If the dealers up card is anything else you should fold. If your last remaining card is a 4 and the dealer's up card is a two or three, you should fold. If the dealers card is four you should call. If the Dealer's up card is anything higher than that you should fold. Effectively for anything that is not a high card, queen or lower, if the dealer's up card matches in value your last remaining card, you should call. If the dealer's up card is anything higher or lower you should fold.

With regard to the high cards during your casino games, if you have a King and the dealer's up card is a King or an Ace you should call. If it's a dealer's up card is anything less you should fold. If your last remaining card is an Ace and the Dealer's up card is a King or an Ace you should call, otherwise you should fold.

Now, that all only refers to situations where you do not have any type of winning combination. If you have at least a pair or higher and the dealers up card is anything you should call.
